TIG welding rod Tigrod 16.95 for joining and surfacing of similar steels, manganese hard steels and heat-resistant steels. Excellent for austenitic-ferritic joints (dissimilar metal joints) at operating temperatures up to 300 °C. The weld metal is scale-resistant up to approx. 850 °C, but does not have sufficient resistance to sulfur-containing gases at temperatures above 500 °C. Resistant to seawater and diluted acids. The weld metal is work-hardening and wear-resistant; very good for buffer layers and overlays. Weld metal hardness: untreated approx. 180 HB, approx. 41 HRC after work hardening. Typical base materials: 1.3401, 1.4000, 1.4021, 1.4512 and similar, dissimilar metal joints, buffer layers, etc. .
