TIG Rods Böhler Thermanit X 1.4370 5kg
The Böhler Thermanit X TIG rods are rust-proof and resistant to scaling up to 850 °C. However, it should be noted that they are not sufficiently resistant to sulfur-containing combustion gases at temperatures above 500 °C. These rods are used for joining and surfacing heat-resistant Cr steels/cast steels and heat-resistant austenitic steels/cast steels. They are well suited for austenite-ferrite joints, with a maximum application temperature of 300 °C. Furthermore, they can be used for joining unalloyed or low-alloy steels/cast steels with austenites. It is important to ensure low heat input to avoid brittle martensite transition zones.
