The ESAB OK AristoRod 12.50 is an uncoppered solid wire electrode of grade G3Si1 for MAG welding. It can be used with shielding gas groups M20, M21, and C1 according to EN ISO 14175.
The welding wire is particularly suitable for joining general structural steels, pipe steels, shipbuilding steels, and fine-grain structural steels with yield strengths up to 420 MPa. Typical materials include P235 or S235 to P420 or S420 and comparable steels.
Thanks to its optimized chemical composition, the OK AristoRod 12.50 enables consistent welding behavior and reduces the need for rework. Its excellent wire feeding characteristics support both high welding speeds and long wire feed distances.
The wire is particularly suitable for applications with high welding currents. In larger Marathon Pac™ containers, it can also be used effectively in automated systems and robotic welding.
The TÜV suitability test confirms its use at temperatures down to -50 °C, making the welding wire also suitable for components requiring high impact toughness at low temperatures.
General application areas: Steel constructions, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, shipbuilding, pipeline construction, pressure vessel construction, as well as automated and robotic welding applications.
The disposal of this product, as well as its residues and waste, must be carried out in an environmentally sound manner and in compliance with local disposal regulations. Where possible, use suitable recycling routes.
