Description Megafil 710M
MEGAFIL® 710 M is a seamless metal-cored wire with a remarkably stable arc and no spatter. Excellently suited for use in automated welding applications such as orbital welding or robotic welding. This wire offers full coverage of third-party approvals, allowing you to cover multiple processes up to 460 N/mm2 yield strength with just one wire. MEGAFIL® 710 M can also be used for constructions requiring post-weld heat treatment and still offers mechanical properties confirming class 5Y46. Due to the seamless manufacturing process, the hydrogen content, even after long storage in unconditioned areas, is below 3 ml / 100 g weld metal. Applications: structural steel, shipbuilding, pressure vessels, mechanical engineering, pipeline construction, offshore, crane construction, heavy transport, lifting equipment, etc.
